CB Santa Cruz, el Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide y el Complejo Deportivo Pancracio Socas están inmersos en los preparativos de una nueva edición del Campus de Verano que organiza cada año la entidad santacrucera.
Éste se celebrará del 2 al 9 de julio con grandes profesionales del baloncesto que pasarán por Tenerife y que, junto a los técnicos del CB Santa Cruz, incluido el nuevo técnico del equipo de Liga EBA, David Hernández, ayudarán en el desarrollo deportivo de los participantes.
Este campus oferta dos tipos de inscripción: internos, en el que los niños además de realizar todas las comidas en las instalaciones designadas pernoctan en ellas, y no internos, para aquellos jugadores que prefieran pasar sólo el día en el campus.
Las instalaciones deportivas del Complejo Deportivo Pancracio Socas volverán a ser el mejor escenario para la enseñanza de este deporte. Es un centro de tecnificación de altísimo nivel al servicio de los jóvenes durante ocho días de frenética actividad, pues dispone de cinco canchas de baloncesto, piscina climatizada, sala de spinning, sala de aerobic y musculación.
Los precios fijados comprenden descuentos especiales para todos los residente en Santiago del Teide y también para jugadores del Club Baloncesto Santa Cruz. Toda la información sobre precios e inscripción está disponible en los formularios de inscripción y folletos que se encuentran en la página web oficial de la entidad cestista:
1. Campeonato de Canarias Sub 10,12,14: Olga Gunyaeva quedó tercera en sub 12 fem, estando hasta la última ronda luchando por el campeonato.
2. Juegos Escolares de Tenerife de Ajedrez: en su primera participación la Escuela de Ajedrez de Santiago del Teide, logró el cuarto puesto como equipo ( resultados mixtos), adjudicandose el trofeo correspondiente , fueron el equipo sorpresa dentro de los 15 equipos que participaron.
A nivel individual fué otro éxito para la escuela del municipio: Marina Sofía Litinova, fué subcampeona femenina benjamín; Olga Gunyaeva, fué subcampeona alevín ( lo fué participando sólo las últimas 4 partidas ,las primeras 4 partidas no participó): 4 victorias; al empezar el Campeonato.
Queremos destacar la gran actuación de tres jugadores benjamines de la escuela, que en su primera participación, lograron muy buenos puestos, ayudando a que pudieran quedar 4º como equipos: Ayrton Fouffé Sierra; Bryan García Hernandez; José Eduardo Casañas González.
Todo ello gracias al esfuerzo e ilusion por parte del profesor de la Escuela de Ajedrez José Luis Martinez Coronado con el apoyo y entusiasmo de la Concejalía de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide cuyo concejal es D. Emilio Navarro Castanedo.
El Ayuntamiento de la Villa Histórica de Santiago del Teide y el Complejo Deportivo “Pancracio Socas García”, organizan, conjuntamente, los cursillos de natación de verano 2011 que darán comienzo el lunes 4 de julio, contando con la colaboración de la entidad CajaCanarias y ofreciendo transporte gratuito para todos los niños residentes. Se ofertarán, entre los meses de julio y agosto, cerca de 300 plazas para niños / as de 4 a 14 años, ambos inclusive.
En el desarrollo de los cursillos se pretende enseñar a nadar y mejorar en los estilos de natación mediante una natación recreativa en la que predominan los juegos en el agua y que favorecen las relaciones entre los niños y niñas que participan en estos cursillos.
El Complejo Deportivo“ Pancracio Socas García” sigue contando con técnicos cualificados para impartir este tipo de actividades como lo viene haciendo en los últimos años, así en el equipo formador hay 6 monitores de natación que también son socorristas y un Licenciado en Ciencias de la Actividad Física, que controlan y coordinan el desarrollo de estos cursos.
